After breaking down and drying my tent, I continued south towards Princeton. Through the day it was, at various points raining, snowing, and hailing. My pack was wrapped in its cover and I was in my waterproof jacket.

I arrived at around nine and found a room to dry off in. It snowed two inches from seven to nine. It was a rough day.
Hey man!
ReplyDeleteI saw your post over at Lehigh Ultimate's google group. From my experience biking cross country this past summer it's going to take about 30 days before your body's in shape. Along the way meet as many people as you can because 99% of people are absolutely awesome, willing to talk to you, and maybe even give you a place to stay. Also, couchsurfing and warmshowers are two great sites for meeting people in big cities/towns. FYI you might want to raise money for a charity of your choice along the way. It's a nice way to break the ice with strangers and a way to get free food/items from companies along the way. Then the money you save you can donate to your charity. Good luck!

Don't answer Jeff's comment unless you talk to your solicitor. DAD
ReplyDeleteDan, the kids are worried that you might be too cold and keep asking where you are today. Hopefully this weather will warm up soon.
