Distance: 20.5 Miles
Today was interesting because I took a shortcut that had me trespass across an Army Corps of Engineers dam and spillway to cut a mile point five out of my day.

I checked Google Maps, and saw a vehicle-trod path across the as-the-crow-flies direction and pushed a mile of backtracking in to the pot and went in. It was scary for a rule-internalized person such as I am. I was practicing my Miranda response ("I do NOT understand my rights; I want a lawyer;" & silence). I fought the urge to take a picture. Would not want to be confused for a Wahabbist terrorist, with their famous predilection for snapping Midwest hydrology works. I moved on, ate at a gas station attached family restaurant. And I got a salad covered in shredded American cheese. Ugh. I now tred carefully through middle American salad selection. I pulled into a well put together and modest motel after an easier day and ordered some non-pizza pizza with a salad, immediately forgetting what I had learned earlier at lunch. Ugh.
Are you sure you want to put ALL of your adventures in writing? Good to hear from you, in any event, and about Day Fifty-Nine
